Technical architect (Helix 11) — telecoms
Astek — Leading French telecommunications and digital services provider
The same exercise the following year on the application monitoring quality of service for the VoIP offerings, carried since 2018: study, requirements matrix, workshops, solution proposal, estimate and commercial proposal, for a move from Netrac 8 to Helix 11.
The functional scope was identical to the previous renovation, the technical target more demanding: adding a pre-production environment, active/active failover where the other application made do with active/passive, and rebuilding each platform's flows with the twenty or so partners connected. The estimate reached eight hundred days, twice the previous study, with the vendor reduced to a support role for one year.
The project started in September 2021, run under the project management responsibility taken on at the same moment.
