Responsible-IT consultant (initial assessment) — public sector
CGI — Public body in charge of public finances and taxation
An eco-design assessment at the start of the project, on the development of a public body's internal online banking service, the first step of full support over fifteen months: a tailored eco-design framework based on the RGESN, an initial assessment, training for every stakeholder, coaching, the introduction of tools and tracking indicators, then a closing assessment.
The same method as the first assessment run at a tyre manufacturer: two-hour interview workshops per scope, conducted in a technical and functional pair, analysis of the recordings, examination of the code, the interface, the hosting, the deployment and the processes, then scoring, tailored recommendations and a collective readout.
Seventy-eight criteria of RGESN version 2 evaluated — that version had just provided a complete official French framework, where the earlier assessments could only draw on the GR491. Compliance measured at 50 %, with a roadmap of around forty prioritised recommendations.
Achievements
A tailored eco-design framework
Building an eco-design framework specific to the client, derived from the RGESN, serving as the common frame for the whole engagement — from the initial assessment through to the closing counter-assessment.
- 78 RGESN criteria evaluated
78 criteria evaluated, 50 % compliance at the outset
Evaluation against the 78 criteria of RGESN version 2. Compliance measured at 50 % at the start of the project, the reference value for the counter-assessment run fifteen months later. Scoring in an Excel grid: one score per criterion, a consolidated overall score and a graphical readout tab.
- 40 prioritised recommendations
