Web developer — client site integration
Yoolight — Web agency specialising in search engine optimisation.
A two-month professional internship in a web agency specialising in search engine optimisation, obtained on two successive placement agreements — first through the national employment service, then the local youth employment office. A team of four: a graphic designer, a content writer handling search optimisation, a PHP and JavaScript developer hired shortly before, and this position.
First day in a company, facing a deployed CMS and a mockup to integrate. An agency's working method — an imposed platform, divided roles, integration rather than rewriting — broke with a self-taught practice in which every site had been built from a blank page. Getting to grips with the CMS and the integration method, guided by the designer supervising the internship, cleared the block within the first half-day.
Integration of the designer's mockups across three client sites, on two platforms depending on the project: a CMS developed in-house by the agency, and WordPress. The choice of platform followed the search optimisation practices of the time, the agency's core business. Some graphic elements produced in Photoshop for the leisure park site, alongside the integration work.
To this was added a migration carried out without tooling: more than a hundred property listings taken one by one from an estate agency's old site and re-entered into the new one, over more than a week.
The internship closed on a favourable assessment and an offer of employment the agency's workload could not sustain, a hire having just been made. That assessment would weigh in the next recruitment. The two platforms encountered here directly inspired the modular CMS built independently in the months that followed.

Two platforms for three sites
The agency's in-house CMS and WordPress coexisted, the choice following the search optimisation practices of the time. Both directly inspired the modular CMS built independently in the months that followed.
Data migration without tooling
More than a hundred listings taken one by one from an estate agency's old site and re-entered into the new one, over more than a week.
Three client sites integrated
Doudoo Park: home, news, contact, pricing, opening hours and directions, on the agency's in-house CMS. Château Bouthéon: two to three pages, same platform. Aquafontaine: a single page, on WordPress.
Graphic elements for the leisure park site
Produced in Photoshop alongside the mockup integration. The site is still online fifteen years later: the element built for the headings still appears there, in the top banner, next to the original header — the only two elements kept after redesign.
