Magikblog — blog post rating service
Entrepreneuriat personnel — Web projects run independently from 2005 to 2011, and the first sites delivered to clients.
A blog post ranking service, built around a feature the platform of the day did not offer: rating a post rather than a whole blog.
The mechanism: the user creates an account, links their blog to it, and is given a BBCode snippet to insert into their post — a rating grid whose links point back to the service. When a visitor clicks a rating, it is recorded on the service side, and the post is republished through the platform's API with a bar showing the updated average.
The site exposes rankings — best ratings, most rated blogs — and a manual viewer for browsing the registered blogs. A homepage slot features a blog chosen by continuous auction: whoever outbids the standing bid takes the place, and the slot consumes credit for every second on display.
PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS, hosted on OVH. Built over twenty months, alongside the period's other projects.

Blog post rating service
User account, blog linking, generation of a rating grid insertable into the post via BBCode, votes recorded on the service side.
Maintenance outside any contract
Site administration was called upon after delivery, with no recurring service ever having been agreed.
Modular architecture with switchable modules
Native modules sitting in a dedicated directory are detected by the administration interface, which allows them to be switched on or off: pages, articles, comments.
HTML and CSS learned by transposing BBCode
The markup syntax practised for years on the blogs made the move immediate. PHP followed, on the first dynamic site.
