Client project coordinator
Quercus Technologies — World leader in licence plate recognition (LPR) solutions for the parking sector
A vendor of licence plate recognition software for the parking sector. Taking over a portfolio of twenty deployment projects at parking operators, from the company's offices in Reus, Catalonia.
Single point of contact for the client once the sale is agreed, on a long cycle: the contract can be signed and the solution priced from drawings before construction work even begins, which spreads projects over months or years.
An international portfolio — a good third in France, another third between Spain and Italy, the rest spread notably across the Netherlands, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Russia, the United States and Singapore. Exchanges in French, English, Spanish and Catalan. Car parks from 30 to 2,000 spaces, one camera covering up to six spaces.
Achievements
- 20 projects taken over
A portfolio of twenty deployment projects taken over
Following and coordinating twenty LPR deployment projects, from 5 to 300 cameras per site, at very different stages — some contracts signed from drawings before work had begun.
- 3 projects closed
Five projects opened, three closed over the period
Five new projects opened and three taken through to closure, satisfaction survey included, on a cycle where most cases run over several months.
Running internal and client kick-offs
Internal kick-off with sales, finance, production and customer support to open the project, align the launch with the invoicing calendar and obtain the production schedule. Then the client kick-off: approving the drawings, the solution and the schedule, handing over the camera installation and server configuration documentation, and presenting the checklist of points for the client to confirm — networking and powering the hardware, installing and aligning the cameras, marking the ground lines.
- 15 days of configuration per site
Running configuration remotely
Scheduling the software configuration window with the support team once the client checklist is complete. Manufacturing and hardware lead times stayed outside this scope; coordinating with the client on them did not.
Tracking and traceability in the ERP
Recording and maintaining the whole cycle in NetSuite, keeping every client exchange traceable and holding regular progress checkpoints.
